Having A Bad Day

Have you posted in the emergency section with Terry's symptoms? I think Wilder can be a big help. Hope they all pull through.

Thanks Lacuna. But I dont really know his symptoms :(

He is now free swimming and seems happy-ish enough - just looks rough :S

Terry didnt make it :-( . Nothing at all worked, I added salt and the meth blue. I knew he was going as he was struggling to the top and gasping, so I put him in a breeding trap so he didnt need to struggle as much.

I found him this morning vertically floating in the trap :(

I didn't know what he had to treat him properly and couldnt mix meds

I'm so sorry little man, You were the reason I went into "fancy" tailed bettas, but I think you and your brother (Soph's Topaz) must have been from bad stock as he died young and had a slight deformity.

You will always be my grumpy/shy/agoraphobic miserable little man :rip:

Aww! I'm sorry! :rip: I am going through similar problems with the rest of my fish. I hope the rest of your fish pull through! My prayers are with you! :byebye:

Oh, and if you're still dealing with white spot, why not simply turn the temp up to 86F? I did that when I my rescued betta, Scooter, came down with white spot, and it was gone within three days. (No meds added.) Good luck.

-f_f!

Awww sorry to hear that Haych!!
They must of been from bad geans as they have both gone to fishy heaven!!
Hope the rest are doing better!!

Thanks guys. I havent had the heart to clean and boil his tank yet - I still look for him :-(

And Soph thats what I was thinking, maybe the parents bred out too much making them weaker and deformed (as poor Topaz was)

p.s - I hope Zulu (unless you renamed him) is doing well
