It is either Heros efasciatuswas or Heros appendiculatus. The world fish organization has this fish classified as Heros efasciatuswas, but I read on a different board that a guy discovered an article that states that this fish was first described as Heros appendiculatus, so going by the rules of taxonomic naming this fish should be called Heros appendiculatus. It is in the same genus as the severum, Heros severus, and is very closely related, but still a seperate species (according to the world fish organization).

I have seen similar fish on several boards, but unable to locate one for myself :(

looks like it is sharing a tank with an ornate bichir, but as for the fish in question I have no idea.

The fish in the back ground are actually polypterus endlicheri endlicheri, one of the larger and rarer bichirs. As for the sev the only one ive ever seen is that one but posted around a few different sites.

BTW do any of you lot know whats happened to the aquatic terrors board? Ive been unable to access it for about a week now. :(

I've found that AT goes down from time to time. Probably due to mostly dumbass and little kiddies that are there. Thats one place i don't like to post.

I very rarely post anything in there, i just visit from time to time for a good laugh at some of the real dumbasses that get on there.
