Have you ever witnessed a male betta fight and couldn't do anything about it like if you saw it at your school but was afraid of being teased for a very long time about how you care about what they call "stupid fish"?

Hell, I wouldn't care if they would tease me or not, I'd be to angry.

I'd be mad, but it's a school policy you can't bring pets, even fish to school, unless your a teacher. The only teacher I saw with fish had a Striped Julie and Electric Yellow Cichlid. That's about it.

Hmhmh.....I wouldn't be seeing it. I go to a very very small school, k-8th, and everyone knows everyone. Everyone knows what everyone is up to. A guy can't even slip a note ionto a mgirls locker without it being around half the school by noon.
They take away anything thats not school-oriented, even cards :X

I wouldn't give a #### even if I thought about being teased. You have
to stand up for what you believe in, especially if it involves animal cruelty.

Actually one of the first year bio courses at my friend's university had bettas fighting each to look at territorial instincts, etc. It was only supposed to last until they actually started fighting but like always there are a few dimwits know let it go on :grr: .

I've however seen my one female go the jay grab males do to each other on one of my females in the tank with her. It was so weird i looked over and saw her shaking the other one! Regardless to say the small one is out of that tank for a little while

I've only seen the pathetic leftovers of fights when people dump two males in the same cup at my local Walmart...

I did, however, see two of my young males sparring a while back. It was.... cute!
They got two blows in before I could separate them, but nobody was hurt. Honestly, it struck me as very majestic and primal, I can definitely see the appeal of real fighters and traditional style betta fighting. Though I'm way too soft hearted to ever fight bettas myself, I wouldn't mind seeing two born fighters go at it :) (note that they don't actually fight to the death, I'd never want to see that)

Thousand times :D

I have a tip if your Betta accidentally hurt eachother.

Just put Ketapang Leaves and/or Banana leaves in the water these leaves will help the Betta recover their fins, scales and it makes them healthy.

You can see a lot of bubbles after few days or so.

Thanks,

Brian

You mean you've seen several betta fights?

Yeah.... since I was 11 and I'm 28 now.

I don't want to elaborate it coz I know a lot of us here are against it.

What I can do is I can help our friends here to improve the health of their Bettas and help them conditioning the body of the Bettas for breeding and show competition.

I've watched siblings spar, I don't think they're as "blood thirsty" as they would be if they'd been seperated and properly conditioned- so it's really more of a play fight between brothers. Beautiful just the same though.

However, in answer to your question, if I saw two morons dump a couple of veils together I'd probably flip my lid.
