I have never had whitespot in a fresh water tank. But my marine tank had a outbreak last year, the tang was covered. I used a three pronged approach, treating with MYXAZIN then when the treatment had stopped i introduced 2 more cleaner shrimp and added a UV to the system.
Zero losses a right result

I used MYXAZIN to treat the white spot on my clowns but after the 5 days they still had it so i turned the temp upto 30 C and it vanished after a day
