Have They Been Merged?

Hi, just wondering, i thought, last time i looked, that the hardware and do it yourself sections were separate, but now merged!?!?
Were they ever seperate, or have they allways been like that? Im kinda confused

I'm sure they were seperate, but probably because there isn't much traffic in those forums

Yes they were merged- we felt it made sense, given the considerable overlap between the two.

There is quite a bit of traffic, it is the overlap that was the key issue. I frequently found myself referring posters in one forum to threads in the other.

Also, there wasn't as many people replying in the hardware section as the DIY section, and they basically fit into each other, so that's probably why they done it, and for the fact Lateral said above.
