my tank is 72"x24"x24" i have one albino oscar 9" in length, florida gar pike 10", firemouth 6", red devil 6", jack dempsy 3", and 2 pleco 3" each

reason i as is cuase my oscar has been really messed up latley trying to jump out, moving rocks twice his size, laying on his side and even twitching????
it sure dosnt seem happy anyhow, altho the wound on his head is healing well thanx to advice in the help section any advice would be greatly appreciated the oscar is my first fish 3 years old now and id really like it to be comfertable

How long have all the other fish been in there? have you added any of late.. i find that oscars are really tempermental fish and often whinge when they dont get there own way.. maybe the oscar no longer feels the dominant fish in the tank.. maybe some other fish is giving it a hard time.. I too have an oscar so I know what its like having grumpy fish...

the firemouth has been growing fast latley and challenging it.....they swim at eachother with their mouth open wide...mebbie i shouldnt put the oscar back in the big tank?....or move the fire mouth....but that rises another question...i was planning to put a tea cup sting ray in the spare tank when the oscar is better.....do you think a firemouth and a sting ray will live together?

Well it don't sound like your tank is overful. Maybe ur fish is just a little grumpy or there might be something in the water. Test your levals !

the tank i wanted to put the sting ray in is a 50 gallon hex tank....it is called a tea cup sting ray the guy at the fish store said it wouldnt get any bigger it was the same size as a tea cup...never see a fresh water sting ray before it looked very neat ....but i dunno it saysd they are very delicateid hate to kill one

Putting a stingray in a tank with a cichlid is a definate no no  . Teacup stingrays (Potamotrygon reticulatus) are very delicate and have special needs/requirements and will stress out quite easily. Besides, I don't thing a 55 gal hex would give it enough bottom area to be comforatable, a tank with better length would be advisable.
