I think I paid about £30 for my first full set from P@H about 2 years ago. Have I missed something (like that the test tubes are cased in solid gold)?

EDIT: Though it's just occured to me how useless that would make them!

now thats taking the mickey... 221 quid for a test kit!

Methinks they probably pressed the 2 key once too many times.

They may also have run out of them so has bumped up the price to deter people from buying them but keeping the listing on saves money from having to relist, I've seen people do this although you'd think they would say so in the listing so it may be a mistake! anyone messaged them yet to let them know?

Doh! snap ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

what a lot of ebayers do is when they are out of stock they reprice it to such an extent that no one buys, then when they get it back in stock they re-correct the price, it saves them money relisting the item, as they probably have got it listed till none left. Its a way round of paying extra fees relisting, seen it on many things.

or as mentione repriced it wrong by accident, but a lot of ebayers use the above method.

Exactly what Betta Fish & Dan-CR4 said.

It's to save the cost of relisting when they run out of stock.
It's that and nothing more.
Solid gold? That would have to be a collector piece! :hyper:

I'm hoping the test kit price is a typo

I bought mine off eBay for just under £20

Sorry for the off-topic question, twinklecaz, but what species are the plants in your sig or are they fake? I'm looking for some similar looking plants for my tank at the moment :good:
