Yes, my fish have had the more common ones: ich, fin rot, etc. Most of them where when I was a noob.

I would say we have 14% of the luckiest fish keepers in the world. Those that have not had any disease how long have you been in the hobby as that is an extraordinary feat and you should be congratulated or hooked up to a polygraph

My first betta got swim bladder and got over it. Unfortunately I caused this by overfeeding as I was new to the hobby and did a silly thing like read the directions on the food cannister. :p That same poor fish got popeye and finrot. Some antibiotics cleared it up and he went on to live for quite a long time.

I had a few fish die last year, never truly knew the cause. It may have been dropsy.

Mine had ick (or ich, or ICH, or whitespot), and a couple died, but a few made it out okay. I was a terrible fish father, but now they seem to be doing well (knock on wood).

Yes. Not in my 2 current tanks, but in a previous tank, I had some fish come down with ich. I'm very happy to say that I fought the outbreak and won and didn't lose a single fish
