Whoever buys these, if you are a member on this forum, please make sure you look after these properly, they like high temperatures and a low PH (28-32oC and a PH of 5-6.6)

oh very nice, i just thought someone might like them, never seen that strain, there like the electric blue jack dempseys..problem is the ph etc is so low and my ph is very high, dont want to mess round changing water values,no good at that

join the club, Nelly  but, hey, my water's pefect for african cichlids :good:

The electric blues are a gorgeous fish and I wish I had the space for them myself. The first pair on ebay went for about £32 about 6 months ago and I was tempted then.
I think these are probably from the same breeder and he seems to be really good from what I've seen.

With a temp of < 25C and a pH of <7.0, this is a livebearer I will never own. My own experience tells me that high pH, hard water fish are the ones I should keep. Any others only live in my tanks long enough for me to pass them along. I do not hesitate to take in fish that are not well suited to my water, but I do not keep them long.

must be a lot of lime stone in york or sand stone im in huddersfield so our water comes off the pennines which is all peat bogs lucky me :D

yeah, my water is super hard too, it sucks so bad, but as adandrews said, its perfect for african cichlids lol
