@YSR50

As you know, I have done the same and registered some plecofanatics domains just in case. I believe I have been able to rescue a large part of the site including the forum structure and its /articles section too.

It will take quite some time to put it back together....

Please PM me if you are interested in reviving plecofanatics to its former glory, albeit with a slightly different domain, but very similar nonetheless...

Best regards

Matt

Well i wish you all good luck :) Might be able to lend a hand here and there, so keep me on the "PM for help" list. :) But no guarantees, IT student at university, exams in a couple weeks :(

Indir

EDIT:
Are you the one who has the .net domain?

No, that's not me - i was the senior mod at PF. I checked yesterday and found the .net domain had been registered and whoever it was had opted to keep their details private. However I checked the source code on the website and found it's also located onthe same server as another site for YSR motorbikes, which after some tracking I found out it belongs to an Aussie member of PF. Pretty underhanded if you ask me, setting up another forum is fine but blatently stealng PF's graphics it out of line if you ask me.

What IT are you studying at uni?
Hi
I'm the one who registered the .net domain. My sn was the same over on PF.

I've tried contacting Jeff on a few occasions myself, not trying to snipe the site, just hoping he would pass it on to a mod who was willing to keep it going. When PF expired I checked and noticed no one had registered the .net domain so I did. I've created, designed and managed other large vBulletin sites so my intensions were to start up the .net domain and invite the mods back to run things the way they always have. It was never to deceive or rip anyone off or to squat. And if by some miracle Jeff transfered or sold the domain and/or database I planned to simply point .net to the .com site.

Not sure I'll find time to stop back here often so if you have any other intentions or concerns you can reach me at the email link on .net
