Like it says in the title.

Are they any good? Very powerful?
I was thinking of perhaps using one instead of the bar? Any thoughts?
I've got a 240L Juwel Rio with the following:

2x Angel Fish
4x Keyhole
2x Blue Ram
5x Pigmy Corydora
5x Rummynose tetra

Not too sure what product your refering too, any links?

only found the item on ebay and afaik you can't link to ebay?

if im right in what he is talking about it's bascially a tee connector that you connect to the outlet from an external filter which gives a connection for the air pump to go to so the air goes directly into the filter tube rather then the aquarium and i suppose more oxygen is taken in. sounds cool if more oxygen is needed i guess and means one less item stuck to the tank walls.

wondering though if instead of the air pump could the co2 pipe be connected so that again more co2 is in the water and one less item in the tank? would this work better then the glass diffusors.

Perhaps this is a picture?

For switching from air pump to co2, you'd have to ask the question of whether your co2 source would push in with as much pressure as the air pump. A reactor might be more efficient than a diffuser. Many types and makes of reactors exist, there is even one of those on the eheim site although I think pumps and filters are eheim's strong suit.

i use them on my internal filter they are great no need for a air stone lots of air in your tank

you can see them pumping air out of both corners in this video

Ahh ive usen the "venturi" feature in the past but without using an air pump :) just by having the pipe sticking out of the water and allowing the filter to pull air down (hard to explain, works well though).
