Has Anybody Got The Nokia 5800 ?

if anyone has got the nokia 5800, do you find you have to put the time and date in every time you turn the phone off and back on

You shouldnt have to do that unless you actually take the battery out of the handset
If you just power it off then the time should remain correct at least for a couple of hours
If you still have problems use the Nokia software updater that came with your phone there should be an update now that will fix it

i thought the same iv just tried to update but it says i have the latest software on it, i only got it today i dont know wether to take it back

If you got it today then you will have the latest software on it - because the last batches of them that have been sold in the last three weeks all have the latest software.
Ill have a look tomorrow to see if it is inherent in all of them but some nokias just do that

Is it when you switch the handset off, or when you switch it off and take the battery out?
