USA,
made one of those placs that people put the fish they caught one for a dearly loved betta that died? I was thinking about that, and thought it may be cool, yet then odd at the same time. Does anyone else think that, or am I just weird? Or maybe bored and no idea what else to do but ask the question.

It might be nice if there was a pinned topic where people could post a pic of his/her betta that had died. Maybe pages, just of a pic with the bettas name, date you got it/ day it died. Like, an in memory of page, or something.

Do you mean as in taxidermy? Goodness gracious me!
If so, you'd have to have tiny tools work with a betta!

Can you imagine trying to skin a betta?
Here are some ways fish taxidermy is done... considering how involved the whole process is, you might as well just commission a painted sculpture of the fish instead

that would be kinda sad... if i lost a fish and put him on the wall... i would cry everytime i saw it!!
but isnt seeing it better than never seeing it again?

I made a crypt long ago for all my dead fish out of sandstone in a little area with loadsa trees outside my appartment. Thankfully its not very full :)

errr....that'd be like stuffing your dog or cat when they passed. Kinda wierd IMO.

I recently lost my cat (to the stupid dogs on the next street..coincidentally..one was the same one I had a rant about a couple months ago...if anyone read the thread about the dog digging under my fence), and I don't think I would want to see her everytime I walked into the living room..pictures alone are enough to bring me to tears at this point, I hate to think what actually seeing her would do.

Nah, a crypts just a big coffin realy where you can store multiple bodys- i just put the fish in a little box and then put the box in the crypt which is basically a big stone box- its not like its in the house or nothing.
