KH or GH Carbonate containing compounds such as Sodium bicarbonate will raise KH To raise GH use calcium carbonate (sparingly soluble), combined with magnesium sulphate, and or calcium sulphate.

D dazcoops New Member Joined Mar 2, 2006 Messages 33 Reaction score 0 Mar 19, 2006 #3 your tap water or tank water is soft? what is the kh gh? if your kh is low then your ph will drop over time. buy some chiclid minerals from your local fish shop to buffer the hardness back up.
