What a beautiful boy, and the cat's cute too! Abby's are my absolute favorite breed and when one of my boys pass (hopefully not for a long time) I plan to get one.

she's a sweetie ! I must post pics of my two siamese-they have a similar 'look', in the sense that they look at you , and you can tell they are thinking 'you are my slave. Now go and peel me some prawns or I will scratch your face'. even though they are both soppy buggers!

I have to ask you about his personality and see if it's like hers.... she's an absolute love-bug and would rather be attached to your body then anywhere else.... she's not aloof at all (must not know she's an abyssinian). She gives us what we call "alien mind probes" where she'll sit and lick your forehead until you absolutely can't take it anymore. She purrs up a storm and gets along great with the dogs. In fact, when I brought a rescue dog in, after we'd had her, they sat there and looked at each other, the actually had a conversation, not like mewing and woofing but soft and meaningful, and they never spoke out of turn. And after they were done, they both went their separate ways and have gotten along great since. I think she's was basically laying down the law, telling him where the line is and warning him that it would be in his best interest to not cross it.

I don't do dogs, but the breeder I got him from has a massive wolf hound and all his abbys
didn't take a blind bit of notice to it.

Baggy doesn't just lick your forehead he goes for the scalp, often at the crown and very very hard
(mostly at 3am when people are trying to sleep).

like yours he wants to be everywhere you are and 'help' wherever he wants to 'help'
especially when I'm trying to do water changes.
