Hanging Aquariums? What Do You Guys Think?

what about cycling?

after that then it would be possible, but if that was just setup then id be skeptical

Don't like it... too small. If you're that desperate setup a proper hole in the wall tank or get a all in one unit and sit it on a side table.

I guess it can't get any worse...

...oh wait it can.

holy poop!

Now that is bad. Stuff like that should be outlawed. Unless u keep a snail in it and change the water everyday.

Looks cool, but like you said, its about the fish, not us!

James.

The problem is these tanks only hold a very small amount of water in relation to their size as they are so thin, I was tempted once, only once mind! as I like the idea of a tank on/in the wall but upon mailing the seller to ask how much water it held I think I was told 7 litres?! even the bigger ones hold in the region of 20 litres or so, not great for a nice community!

I really like the concept of a thin tank with lots of swimming room. I mostly keep small fish, so my idea of a good tank will be very different from that of a cichlid keeper. If the tank has an adequate water surface to volume ratio it might do very well for smaller fish like Heterandria or Xenophallus umbratillis. There is no way I would be tempted to put any large fish in it though.
