Your nuts mate to be hand feeding that lol. I tried to hand feed my bass and the ting nearly took my thumb off left a big cut though.

its hard for the gar to compete for food coz anything that goes in the bottom half of the tank is gone in seconds
so this is what ive started to do for him
i feed the aro first with mealworms then the gar white bait then chuck in a few handfulls of whatever for the rest

Huh, I tried that with my goby once. He missed and took a good sized chunk out of my finger.
And he's only 8" long!
