haliquin tetra

hello.
I just bought some little fishies for my new breeder tank. mY lfs has accidentally given me a tetra. I think it's a harliquin. Are these schooling fish? I've only got one coz of accident and it's swimming round like mad. Is this cause it needs friends? It's seriously stressing.

Tetras do like to shoal but I doubt that that is the reason he is stressed if he is. I have one neon tetra by himself and he is fine.

He could just be a zippy fish?

He's calmed down now the water's cooled down a bit tho. So maybe that was it???

The Harlequin is not a tetra. It is a Rasbora and comes from South East Asia. They are a schooling species and really should be in a group of 4 or more. A very nice little fish it is too.
