Puffer pack- i agree that they are aggressive, but so were are my piranhas. Around here (niagara falls, canada), there has been an introduced species, gobbies. They grow to 5'' and eat/kill everything and are SUPER AGGRESSIVE! So, i caught a half dozen and fed them to my piranhas, that's a 5" gobby vs. two 3" piranhas (they were small at the time)

Isn't a DP poisinous enough tto kill a pirahna I mean 134 people died last year from FUGU and pirahnas arent as big as we are.

i am incredibly obsessed with my puffers. I helped my friend set up his 18 gallon tank and in it we have a FLEET of the green spotted puffers, their names are Harry, Larry, Barry, and Prometheus. When I go to the LFS that stocks those guys and figure eights i just hysterically giggle while watching them. Yesterday I just bought a spotted guy to put in my little brothers tank so I could watch it...(because i have angels in my tank and they would get murdered) and hes doing fantastic. Its so funny when their little bellies fill up from all the food they eat!! :D well yeah ill stop my freakish puffer-ramble now....but they are great...Oh and one last thing....the spotted guys do fine in water that is a little less salty than BW if you're trying to keep them with regular fish

I LOVE when the bellies fill up after feeding! Its just the cutest!!! My little puff is the whole reason why I went to a bigger tank and live plants. I was never really as into fish keeping until I saw these little puffers!!!! I absolutely fell in love!! I always wanted chiclids, but I want to wait until I have my own house and wont be moving around with the military anymore so I dont have to worry about leaving fish behind and moving a large tank. (I'm definitely going to have a BIG tank :D ) But couldn't resist when I saw the little puffers!!!! :D [/blue]
