Deicided to have some Guppies, Tetras and something else in my 20gallon. Something farily large, but that wont cause trouble between them and the guppies and tetras?

Well, you could say "Angels" and listen to everybody tell you the tank isn't tall enough. :)

There are some of the smallest cichlids (not sure which) that people talk about...

There are Dwarf Gouramis, which have a new disease problem, but there are Honey and some other versions that don't have that problem...

How tall should a tank be for Angels then?

tanks for angelfish should be at least 18inches high.
The dwarf cichlids are Apistogrammas or blue or bolivian rams
honey dwarf gouramis are nice, as mentioned by waterdrop
pearl or silver gouramis get a bit bigger and are nice fish.
What sort of tetras are you keeping?

Angels eventually get up to 6inches top-to-bottom, ideally a tank of 18inches or above in height would be good.

If the Tetras are small they may be at risk when Angels get fully grown.

> 'Bolivian Rams', 'Kribensis/Kribs' and 'Keyhole' are some ideas for smaller Cichlids.

RedHoney Gourami may be an idea...

Kribensis are also nice larger fish and prefer the same slightly high pH and somewhat harder water that guppies do. As others have said gouramis are nice in a smaller tank. You could also go to platies or similar fish. They are a little larger than the guppies but like the same kind of water condtions. For me, a must have is some kind of cory cat. The kind doesn't seem to matter much but a good sized group of all the same kind is a good idea. The cory size should be one that is good with the other fish and with the tank since they do best in groups of at least 5 or 6.
