:) hey every1 i just wanted to know the signs of mating!

The male swim along side the females with his fins spread fully and shimmering as he goes along side.

If the female is happy the bame will drop behind and below the female.

He will the approch the backend of the female swinning his gonopodium (breeding organ which is a modified anal fin) foward, he will them slace packes of spem at the geneteral opening of the female, She will be able to store the sperm for up to 6 months or so.

Helter

The actual act can be very fast, easily missed unless you know what you're looking for. Not like portholes who spend all their lives cruising with their noses in their chosen female's private parts, and every now and then swinging forward their enormously long gonopodia (these chaps are what you might call well endowed).

Their not as lucky as this guy

Yep - won't necessarily be any signs. I put one of my boys in with three virgin girls and he didn't seem to be at all interested. No displaying - no chasing - complete disinterest ....... and yet ...... all three got pregnant eventually.

Perhaps he was just shy and waited for the cover of darkness to have his wicked way :hey:

if youre looking to breed them it's not hard 1 reason being if they are with males in a shop etc they are almost guaranteed to be pregnant

good luck if you are,

luke
