Guppys And Goldfish

Hi everyone!

I have a small dilemma. My tiger barbs are starting to hassle my guppies. I have already lost one thanks to them.

I was thinking about moving the guppies to my goldfish tank. The temperature of their tank is sitting around 21-22 C.

I was wondering if this a good idea, so they will be safer. My goldfish are only 2" long, so I don't think size difference is issue - or am I wrong?

Any ideas?

goldfish will get most the food before the guppies.
also goldfish tend to prefer to be at much lower temps to guppies so it's best avoided.

1. Have seen goldfish eat guppies. (No, not guppy fry, actual guppies.)
2. Goldfish prefer lower temps.
3. They eat different foods, and goldfish will get there before the guppies.
