how long before a guppy starts the pregancy cycle after they are born so to speak

straight away i think, if i remember correctly the female starts producing the next lot of eggs just before birth and they can store enough sperm from a single mating to produce up to 7 broods of fry

i have a 2-3 month old guppy who is real fat could i be expecting

yer fry can start breeding near enough as soon as they mature, so your best to seperate to prevent inbreeding

To Bki3zo:

Female guppies get quite large when preg. so you mite. However, if yur preg. guppy is in a tank with other fish they will prolly eat the fry. Plus, the females don't usually have as pretty long tails are the males.
