Guppy With Spiky Scales

Hi one of my little guppies has grown quite a bit but looks very different to the others, it is almost like it has the equivelent to our goose bumps and that its scales are sticking out rather than flat. Is this something to be worried about?

it sounds very much like dropsy if the scales are sticking out im affraid....

My fish had this a month ago, I thought it was pregnant for the longest time!

If your fish's scales look like this:

it's probably dropsys.

Mine passed away, you can google it, it says the chances of them living are very small even if you try to treat it.

It is wierd as the one with this is still alive but have just lost two others who looked healthy and young ones, this one is hanging on, in herself looks ok. Just dont want to lose anymore, would the others potentially be affected by that as they both looked ok and fine in the morningbut by the afternoon they just literally dropped dead.

If it swells up, from my own experience I can suggest popping it, mines been fine since. ( one week later)

POPPING IT? How do you do that?

I was gonna kill it, held it abit too tight and it popped....
