I have a 10 gallon tank and I am planning on getting a pair of guppies in thier.
I just wanted to know what other fish I could keep with these guys and any other info. I have a 5-15 Regent power filter and a pump in my tank. i'm planning on getting a bio-wheel filter though. thanks in advance for whatever you might have.

thanks

Hi dragoon1230...other livebearers such as mollies, platties, swordtails eetc would work with guppies :D ...but be sure to research any fish that you find interesting before you buy them (says the guy who keeps buying fish on impulse :*) ...and then needs to buy more tanks to keep them happy  ) just to be sure you are getting fish that are suited to the tank you plan to put them in.

I'm sure it's different for everyone, but I have a male betta in my guppy tank. I only saw him try to eat new fry, never nipping fins. Maybe Red is just a big old softie.

Hello, I also have a 10 gallon tank with 4 guppys in it, 3 female, 1 male, i also have a couple of black skirt tetras in there and 2 head and tail light tetras, they all seem to get along great. Although every once in a while i notice that my larger black skirt tetra nips at the tail fin of my guppy, she thinks she is the boss of the tank. Other than that, they get along great. Hope that helps, Sandy

GO for endlers (poecilia splendens) there small and will look great with ur guppies. B)
