I'm not an expert, but when I bought fish from a sick tank (there were so many fish in it that I didn't see the dead/sick ones) the ones that would die always stayed at the top/bottom doing nothing.

cheers for the help but my guppies are lively moving around the top ?

ive got guppys and have kept them for yrs,
its normal for them to swim at the top, as long as the look healthy eat normal and are not gasping :good:
guppy are not as hardy as they use to be because of all the inbreeding, i seem to lose more males than females.

female guppy is i think normal to sticking to the bottom of the tank and the top have you males in there they try to avoid there attention

plus should keep three females to one male they are horny little buggers

This isn't actually on topic, but I felt that something must be said. Clown loaches and silver sharks require a tank that is far larger than the ont that they are in. Silver sharks get to be 16 inches and need a tank in excess of 100 gallons (to keep a group as they should be kept,) Clown loaches also need a large tank.
