I bought 4 male guppys for my community tank on saturday... I came home from work today and found one lying dead at the bottom of the tank... :(

The fins and tail section were missing... Do you think he could have been attacked by the other guppys...

Tank Stats are as follows

Ammonia 0
Nitrate 15
PH 7.2

Any suggestions would be appreciated, also should I do any sort of water change?.

Other fish will sometimes pick at the dead fish, so it's really hard to say if it was aggression or not. Though it is generally best to have at least 5 males, to spread out aggression.

Guppy males can be notoriously sensitive though, due to so much inbreeding to get the fancy colors. How long did you acclimate them for? And it can't hurt to do a water change, since you don't know how long the dead fish was lying in there.

I done what I usually do when introducing the fish, I float the bag in water for about 20mins to let the water temp acclimatise the fish, then add about a cup full of tank water into the bag, then let the fish swim out after about another 10mins...

Then add a pinch of food...

I done a 20% water change earlier...All the tankmates look fine at moment.
