my female guppy just gave birth again to a couple of fry. i was hoping she wouldnt go for another couple of days cause i have to bring them home for christmas break, but since she's already had about 8 fry, i'm wondering what i should do.

1, i could lower the water level in the tank and try to drive carefully home (2 hr ride) and maybe take out the adult guppies and leave the babies in there with the ghost shrimp,
2, only bring home the adult guppies and my other fish and leave the babies and the ghost shrimp here with maybe an algae wafer? hoping they'll survive the 2 weeks,
3, try to scoop up everyone and put them in little fish baggies and empty the tank (and clean it while im at it) and bring everything separately.

what do you guys think i should do? feel free to add in other suggestions and such

Were you planning on leaving the other fish there over xmas break? How long has your tank been set up? If you were planning on leaving the other fish and the tank has been set up for awhile I would just leave the fry there. If the tank has been running for awhile there should be some algae and microorganisms living in the tank that the fry can live on. They might be eaten by the other fish but they would probably have a better rate of survival then they would being bagged for more then 2 hours.

I'd just lower the water level and drive them home.
They're going to need to be fed.

Make sure the car is very warm!

originally, i was going to bring home everyone, but now i'm thinking i could leave the babies and the ghost shrimp here, and maybe the white clouds. the tank has been set up for about 3 months and its pretty well established. i think the adult guppies ate most of the fry anyways so i'll just bring the adult guppies, algae eater and my other two bettas home.
