Hi

I have 5 guppy fry (which i think 3 are female and 2 are male). My main question is at what age do they start to develop their colours on their fins? (especailly the males) as at the moment they all look lead gray in colour and hard to tell them apart.

They are currently 6 to 7 weeks old and about half an inch in length

Not soon enough! I think someone said they wont really be colorful/full tails for like 4-6 months. Or is that full grown? I wish mine would get their tails & colors so I can decide which to give to the neighbors.

The males get their colour at about 2-3 month, and the females at around 5-6

Soon after they reach 1" in size they will begin to colour up :)

Cheers guys very helpful, i have a 9wk old female guppy and she's a spit of her mother (which sadly died a month ago) she's acting as a surrgot mum to my other babies, they follow her around!!!!

I love my babies
