Guppy Colors And Genetics

I'd like to say that all of the guppies in my tank are mystery fish, mostly because I'm no breeder and don't have the experience or the know-how to tell the difference between color/pattern strains. Could anybody possibly tell me what I may have here? I'm sure they're all irresponsibly bred mutts of some sort or rejects, but it's nice to know what you're footing the electric and water bill for.

its been years since I had any guppies but Imma give t a shot lol, I think the first one may be a variety of Spanish or Japanese??? the second one looks like it may have some half black genes or maybe its a juvenile ? I cant remember the names but that first one sure is pretty...

They look like a mix of cobra guppies and some other kinds, hard to tell. But they are amazing looking fish!

Thank you very much for the input. The two youngsters came out of one of a pair of green-gene females I happened to find at the LFS nearest to me. I had never seen anything with a hint of actual green in it within two hundred miles of my location, so I snagged the two and now I'm just riding out the fry batches to see what colors they ended up producing. Out of curiosity and fondness for the breed of fish, of course, not intent to seriously breed anything 'show worthy'. The reason I was asking what they might be is simply out of curiosity. Nothing worse then saying "I have no idea what I have in my tank. It has eyes and it likes to eat a lot." =] I do have four mystery fry that I THINK may be by the mature male above. I guess I'll find out in the next few months.

Lol I tried to pm you the link but I am not allowed acces or something lol. do a search for show guppies and most of what I have came from the first couple sites that show up, I think the link I have will show up, I hate to get in trouble for putting their name on here as they do sell guppies, but they have alot of true strains and a heap of awards for show quality fish...
