My wife had bought five fancy guppies. Two of them have a lighter colored body that have three to four colored circles going down their sides. One will be green, one yellow and one pink. Is that natural?

Just curious to if they were dyed? If not yay, but would rather not support the store that sells them if that is the case.

Will try to post some pictures when I get home from work.

Fancy guppies come in a full spectrum of colours and patterns. If the pattern is blotchy then it is possible it has been dyed.

As salty said, fancy gups can come in a wide variety of colors. Never heard of someone dying a guppy before, but I'm sure there's probably some idiot out there that does it.
Photos will def help to determine if they're dyed or not

It could be an endler's cross. Endler's livebearers have those colors in them and they are commonly crossed with guppies to make new varietys.

Never heard of dyed guppies.

What your describing is normal though, could be an endler type.

For whatever reason.. I cannot get any pics of that tank to turn out now that their are guppies in it. Could take all the pictures I wanted while it was cycling... but with fish... nope there's a glare.

Try holding the camera at a different angle to the side of the tank, try snow or high reflectivity setting if your camera has one, Try macro for the focussing aswell.
