Guppy Babies Dying From Tiny Air Bubbles After Wash

I have that style of vacuum for my larger tanks, but it's a biig hose relatively and the elevation I have those tanks at versus the catch bucket is enough to create a fast and hard suction XP but I'll try the cheesecloth/small tube idea for the next time I decide to try a hand at baby rearing. I think I still have the airstone tube from one of the cheapie tank setups before I upgraded to larger tanks.

I do have a bit of a small relief update to post - my last surviving baby has pretty much pulled through and is kicking around. I went in and checked on him and noticed his fin was half-clamped instead of fully clamped like it was, and he was swimming out and about instead of hiding among the plants. In a couple more days he oughta be back to normal health with his tail fully fanned out.
