Guppy And Goldfish

There are millions of kids that die every day,
Who cares? No one!

There are millios of chickens, cows, dogs, cats, fish, birds killed every day,
Who cares? No one!

I can understand that all you people being fish enthusiests, your fish mean alot to you, but to me, a fish is just a fish. They're dumb, they can't speak. They just swim around all day, unless you teach them crazy tricks. Yes, I have a favourite fish which I'm trying to save - my guppy, but clearly this isn't the right place.

I am shocked by your attitude. You came for advice, people are trying to help you. But you don't even want to listen and you even say that you don't really care about your fish bar your guppy.

Please do yourself and especially the fish a favour - return them to the pet shop. Because someone else will look after them and treat them with respect and give them the loving home they deserve.

Just because bad things happen, to children and other animals, doesn't mean we should go out of our way to do it to other things as well

I have already tried to advise on what might be wrong with your guppy :(

I'm out now, this thread is making me too upset.

Your attitude is shocking, Its not a case of this not being the right place as there are tons of highly experienced members willing to share knowledge and help people out of tricky situations such as yourself. I think the issue here is you, you dont seem to be willing to listen to advice, no one is telling you to go out and buy a massive tank for your goldfish. We are simply saying as adult fish they are far too big for your tank and there are plently of smaller, less messy fish that would suit your tank.

Would you even entertain the option of returning the goldfish, adding a heater, treating your guppy and then looking into your stocking options as a tropical tank?

There are so many beautiful fish that would go great in a 70 litre tank, you dont have to cram it full of goldfish and watch them suffer.

+1

If you only care about that guppy, why not return the Goldie's and have a tank of guppies or something fun you'll enjoy? Add a heater, cycle it, and voila! A beautiful tankful of pretty healthy guppies for you to enjoy!

thread closed. The OP hasn't returned since the day this thread was started and seems unlikely to do so or to listen to the advice given.
