Guppy Advice

As long as your guppies are wet, you will have fry. At around 3 cm, you have very young fish so it may take a while before the first drop. After that one, about every 4 weeks you should see a new drop. I just dump my guppies into a group setting with good cover and get this result. Note that I do have heavy cover in the form of java moss in that tank. Guppies make rabbit populations look downright sluggish.

My cover would only be half as dense as that, should I consider more plants?

I could easily let that community breed with only half the cover. As it turns out, I sell off about half of that cover at fish club auctions every few months, along with most of the adult fish. The end result is high survival of fry while the cover grows back in.
