I havent been keeping fish for long but I know that this cant be a good sign. Its weird though he will eat food with no problem and he swims around normally. Is it that he is sick or is it that he is not getting along well with the other fish. I dont know, what are your thoughts

More info please.
What other fish do you have, how big us your tank & what are your water stats?

Welcome to the forum jdvyner.
A fish hiding out is seldom a good sign. I would try a large water change just in case there is something not quite right with your water. Do you have a set of test readings along with the water temperature so that we can be more complete at evaluating the situation?

I have a 10 gallon tank with a total of 6 guppies in it so far. The water temperature is currently 78 degrees and the tank has only been running for about a week. He seems fine I was just curious to know if it was normal for a guppy to be hiding by himself

It looks like you're doing a fish in cycle, read the beginners section for advice

I have looked for the beginners section and could not find exactly the link. Although I have been watching him for the past hours he will swim around for alittle bit, checkout the other fish, and then return toward the back of the tank and stay there. I read another forum and a user brought up an interesting point the he maybe being bullied. He does have alittle of his fin missing and I can almost 100 percent say that he is being bullied. Is there anyway that I can get that to stop.

I have a link in my signature area that will take you to a thread about doing a fish-in cycle. If you have fish in a week old tank, that is what you are doing. Do the water change before worrying about reading up on cycling. It will be your first step anyway.
