I HAVE NOW NETED MY PREGNANT FEMALE GUPPY IN A BREEDING NET, I DONT KNOW WHEN SHE IS DUE TO DROP BUT SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE WILL EXPLODE, HOW LONG WILL SHE BE SAFE IN THERE, I ALSO HAVE A SILVER SAILFIN MOLLY THAT LOOKS THE SAME WAY IS IT ADVISEABLE TO PUT THE 2 IN TOGETHER? OR IF ONE DROPS WILL THE OTHER EAT ALL THE FRY??

When the fish drop their babies they secrete a hormone which makes them not feel hungry for a couple of days, it will be risky having two fish in a breeding net not only for the babies point of view but two large fish in such small confinement will cause stress. Whichever one you decide to keep in the breeding net keep her there till she drops the fry, also leave the light off as with the net so close to the top of the tank excess light really stresses them.
