I'm busy experimenting with Guppy strains...... There is no doubt about it,... Guppies are the most popular tropical fish.....I have quite a variety of "self developed" strains (by accident).... (no calculating line breeding techniques - or skills)....

I'm sure there are so many combinations of colour schemes.... Please post photos of your guppies... I'll try classify mine and post photos as well. (this thread stems from my topic of "to cut a short story long")

Helter.... What you call your "japanese Blue", is what I mean when I say " Fluorescent Blue".... (Only, I have the wide tail.... those are beautiful)

if live bearers couldnt hold sperm for circa 6 months i would try picking out some pure strains. a future project for when ive finished school and have more time i think.

That's why I believe all my (15) females, are "farthered" by my Fluorescent Blue and Blond red males.......

The Japanese blue was a wild fish living in japan in 1994 and i've got the round tail type.

This male is also a blond and while not albino it has no black colour to the body allowing you to see the red spot.

This is a normal male showing the black colouration too.
