Hello all, our golden fantailed guppies appear to be losing their colour slightly in their tails, they seem to be very happy and healthy in the tank, any suggestions? thanks

we need more info than that..

-what size tank is it?
-what other inhabitants share the tank witht he guppies?
-water stats?
-how often do you do water changes?

Hello, our tank is 60cmx30x30. water stats are pH 7-7.5,no nitrates/nitrites,we have danios, tetras and 2 small plecs in the tank so its fully stocked. we do a 25% water change each week.thanks

Feed them better food. That is likely your problem. Brine shrimp is rich in carrotine and can be purchased frozen in easy to feed cubes. Supplement their diet with some of this occaisionally and they should colour up. If changing diet doesnt work you may want to look into your city's water chemistry. The only other reason theyd lose colour is stress and you say they are happy and healthy.
