I have two guppies in my tank and they seem to "flare"
they take their spinal fin and point it directly up with the entire fin bunched together and stop in place and like vibrate....
is this normal guppy behavior????

If it's a male then it's probably trying to immpress a female, my male does this alot to my females.

Ah.
Then i have no idea. Could he maybe be trying to tell the other males that he's better than them?

One of my guppies did that "dance." It was after I put a tank mate in for him (another male). He's the only one who's ever done that.

Males display for females. Males display for males. Males display for other fish. It has gotten as far one of my male displaying and trying to mate with one of my cory cats.
