Can they do well in lower temperatures? How low can they get?
Cause I read somewhere that in colder waters they live longer than in warmer waters (but the fry grows quicker in warmer)...

So how low can a T be for guppies to still do Ok? In celsius please....

16C is about the lowerst

The lower the temp the slower fry grow but i find then stronger and fitter.
i keep mine around 18C in unheated tanks in doors.

The lowest that I have ever kept them is about 20C but I don't know that they can't go cooler. They do age less quickly, mature more slowly at lower temperatures but they were never as robust at 20C as they seem to be at 23C.

my tank temperature is always set to 24, and i have guppies and other livebearers, i have also had fry so i find this temperature suitable for the guppies and their fry.

I have a large stock kept in my garage at 20c . I agree with old man and helter skelter-I reckon they are fitter for it.
