Guess What I Found In My Filter......?

i guess my gold stripes have been spawning in my main tank before i moved them without me knowing 1 juvi gold stripe cory i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it swimming about with loads of cherry shrimp in my filter canister. i nearly didnt clean them today im so glad i did i think i will call him fil as i found him in the filter..... or if its female then filis.... i have put fil in my main cory tank as he is too big to be sucked up now....

I say Fil/Filis is a smarter one of the his siblings, he new there was food coming in to the filter and found a ton of free food growing on the media.

he really was lucky, i couldnt believe it. i pulled the external out of the cupboard and saw him swim up the side (rena xp3), i was expecting to find platy fry and the odd shrimp as always but was amazed to find a cory....! i didnt even know they had spawned in that tank

That's amazing. I knew they liked to eat the microorganisms in the filter gook when they are tiny, but I would not have thought one would be able to eat enough to grow that big.

he or she seems very at home with his parents and seems to be feeding fine fil is becoming my favorite cory fast,so cute
