When compared with other aggressive CA/SA cichlids where do they stand? What are your thoughts?


I call these Aggressive Cichlids, and yes I have had them all apart from the Umb.

"TRUE" Amphilophus festae
Caquetaia umbrifera
Amphilophus citrinellus
Amphilophus labiatus
Cichlasoma trimaculatum
Cichlasoma uropthalmus
Nandopsis tetracanthus
Parachromis dovii
Parachromis managuensis
Vieja maculicauda

I think the GT is quite a laid-back fish (in general) compared to these guys ^

Depends on the individual fish, but in general I would say probably not as aggressive as some on the list, but certainly no push over.

yes i would have to agree with you, as stated cichlids all are different but usually they live up to there reputation<instints>
ive had an evil real evil vieja bifa<multi murderer and asultie,,,,jaguar is also evil even attacks me, hehe,,,
