I am so upset. I just lost an Otto and I believe it's because he wasn't getting the algae wafers that I put in. My Danio's are just too fast. I have tried dropping them in at the same time that I feed the other fish but they still get it.
Now I'm afraid my other Otto will suffer the same fate.
Does anyone have an ideas on how to get around this?

Do you have live plants? Otos really should have live plants
I do have live plants. I'm pretty sure it's because I couldn't get the food to him fast enough. :(

Try putting the tabs in a glass jar, then submerging the jar and laying it on its side. I've done this before for my plecs & corys, it takes a while for the angels, platys, & danios to figure it out, giving the others a bit of time to get their fair share.

How many? I think it died of unrelated causes. Only 2 of my otos (I have 7 in all) will even touch the wafers

Dwarfs: I have 2 bunches of Bacopa, 1 bunch of Cabomba, and 2 hornworts.

Really? I thought that they NEEDED them as part of their diet....and that cleaning algae off of the glass etc. wasn't good enough.
