Hi I'm new and I want to grow suckers and sell them. I was thinking of getting a 1.5 to 1 gold fish to sucker ratio to help the suckers grow since they eat the wastes. Is this a good idea? :S If you have a better one let me know thanks :D

they don't eat the waste from other fish  .... they mainly eat algae and green matter.

If you want to breed plecs the simply set up a tank for them and feed them plenty of vegetables with occaisional bloodworms if they'll take them. Staple diet should also include algae wafers.

Do plenty of water changes and read up on the breeding needs of any fish before you buy it :)

Are you refering to coldwater suckers used for bait? :dunno:

If so, I would think you'd need a huge set-up.

No fish eats fish poop. What other fish eat is uneaten food, but if you feed carefully, there should be no uneaten food in the tank anyway.
