I use something like that to hatch the BS. I actually take a large soda bottle - 2 liter - cut it about 3 inches from the bottom. Drill a hole in the cap for the air hose. Then invert it and fill it with dechlorinated water and add about 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt. Add the eggs and place it inverted in the bottom portion of the bottle which then acts like a stand. Turn on the air hose and keep a good stream going. The ph here is about 7.4.... Within 12 to 18 hours the eggs start to hatch. No extra lights, nothing.
I keep two going at all times. When I'm finished with them, I remove the bottle caps and keep those and toss away the bottle parts.
