Growing Java Fern

Na, it shouldnt gale. I added an "off growth" of my moss to a natural hole in my bogwood and its literally gone OFF! Crazy grwoth. So it should be fine :thumbs:

no they take hold pretty well and mine hav started to flourish brilliantly, i found using interpets plant food is a good way to keep your plants going with out any algea probs, i just ran out and the only other stuff my lfs had was king british plant feed and now i seem to have a suspicious amount of the green stuff growing on my tank glass
 
1 month to 6 months, depends on lots of factors. if you have good light and co2 it will be quicker than low light and no co2. whatever system you have it'll happen eventually. patience my friend...
