ok so they get reasonably big and like to be kept in groups so obviously you need a big tank for them, but would keeping a group of 6 or so be ok in a 350l corner tank?

Lets see..(does UK to US conversion :shout:)
92 gallons.

The biggest Anthias I was able to come across was the Pictilis Anthias (Pseudoanthias pictilis) which grows up to 6 inches (15.25 cm). The smallest Anthias that I was able to come across was the Ventralis Anthias (Pseudanthias ventralis) which grows up to 3 inches (7.60 cm).

This is a picture of a Ventralis

You could get a bunch of them in your tank. 92 gallons in a huge tank

Was there a certain one that you liked?

P. Bimaculatus, P. Dispar, and P. Bartlettorum would also work great :D. I'd love to have a school of anthias in my tank, great choice guys :good:

now i'm not sure of the species (rubbish i know) but the one's they get most often in our lfs's are one of the larger species, so say 6" (although i'm sure someone said 6-8") so assuming they're that size, what's a nice size for a group of them, i know you get all females or just one male and a group of females
