I was told to not worry too much about my pH, but rather get very hardy plants, my pH is somewhere between 8 and 9. I have an anubias barterii that's thriving and growing pretty fast, two java ferns that are being eatten by one of the fish, and some sort of amazon sword that's pretty much dying. I plan on upgrading my tank at some point, and would like something to cover the substrate, something like micro swords or Hemianthus callitrichoides. I dont have a Co2 system, and the plants are fed once a week with Nutrafins Plant Gro, 0.15-0-0.
any suggestions?

Micro swords would work fine, mine grows fine in ph 8.3 with no Co2 injection, HC does need Co2 to grow well.

I've tried micro swords, they didn't do well for me. thats why I was asking about plants like them.
