Wanted to introduce myself to everyone on this forum properly. I have recently re-attempted at starting up my 10 gallon tank after a 2 year hiatus due to my work requiring me to move and have since missed my aquarium hobby. Starting over again and hope to learn from this site particularly on the various fish varieties, I had basic mollies and platies last time, while they were pretty I am trying to venture into new species with my limited space tank. Anyways, hello everyone and I hope to learn a lot from this site.

helloo and welcome!

first you should learn to cycle

next for your possible stocking:

Aphyosemion sp
funduopanchax sp
badis sp
poecila reticulata(guppy)
corydoras hastatus, habrosus and pygmaeus
betta
or pretty much anything here

Hey Welcome to temhe forum. Allot of knowledgeable people in the forum. Bigger the tank the more possibilities and varities you can have! Well good luck ! Oh and btw love bacon pancakes your avatar is funny ha

So I guess you have already started the cycling process, you are being smart using this time to now plan your stocking! :)

hi i'm new i have 10G tank i have been doing fish for 1 year now and happy to say i now breed fish

Tanks already cycled for 5 weeks now, just added some rummy tetras in today. My 10 gallon is for my office so I don't have the option of upgrading to a bigger size sadly. Just looking for other types of freshwater fish I can add to it besides the typical commercial pet store offerings.

Rummynose tetras do not belong in a 10g, sorry. I strongly recommend you re-home them and find more suitable fish.
Derp linked you to a good bit of ideas with this http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/418749-nano-fish/

Woops, I forgot to mention a welcome in my post. Sorry!

I cant rehome them sadly, as I previously said its a tank for my office at work and I cannot get anything larger than a 10gallon, I only have 6 in there and there doing well so far, but ill monitor over the weeks to see if anything happens to them, thanks for the heads up though
