Green water

Geez i just cleared my tank of green algae i took my fish out and put them in my sisters tank for 10 days while it recycled now its back
my water is green i got all new rocks and new filter pad what could be wrong
im only feeding them once a day and using light only sparingingly
what should i do HELPPP

you could cut down a bit on the lights or add some fast growing plant.

What are the parameters of the tank? specially nitrate. How long are the lights on in the tank each day?

um i know its a 10 gallon
i dont have any plants today i just bought these jungle buddies tablets to clear algea i turned down the water temp and havnt used the light in a while
i also am only feeding 1 time a day
i put a sheet on the window so no light can come in
